Nose Threads

A Thread lift is a procedure we have introduced only recently and is proving to be quite popular among our regular clientele. This treatment can be done on the brow/eye area or on the nose. Sometimes known as the 'lunch hour lift', it is a good alternative to a nose job or facelift due to its price point, results and recovery time. The Thread Lift works by inserting a cannula with the thread inside it which attaches itself to the muscle thus creating a more lifted, smoother and more firm appearance to the face. The treated area is then massaged in a way for the threads to take their full effect. For the eye area, it will smooth any fine lines on the skin and lift the lid slightly giving a more awake and fresher look. For the nose, which is our specialty, it will lift the tip of the nose, create a straighter look to the bridge of the nose, and reduce the size of the nose tip, which will give the side profile of the face a more sleek transition from the forehead to the nose. It will also smooth out any small ridges or bumps the nose may have. Depending on how quickly or slowly your body will break down the threads, the results of this treatment last around six months, with the threads eventually dissolving naturally in the body by themselves. The whole procedure is generally painless due to the use of local anaesthesia and it is actually quite quick due to the session being completed in under 30 minutes. The threads also trigger a boost in your body's natural collagen production which can improve your skins tone and firmness for up to one year.
